I first landed on the United States as an international students in 2007. I went to business school with the hope that I will be an elite on wall street. But suddenly the financial crisis erupted during my second year in the school. I heard lots of big names go bankrupt, even the Lehman Brothers. Professionals lost their jobs in one night. I felt mixed-up and a little scary, I wondered if I could find a job after graduation. The situation hasn’t got any change even though time came to my graduation. How frustrated it would be when you sent hundred of resumes and only got one-two response. eventually, I ended up in a mortgage investment company in LA., which is far away from my family. And then I back to home to take care of my son, as he turns to 5, I think it’s time to be myself and continue to pursue my dream to be a professional in Financial field. Nowadays, I am a trader and Loan officer as well. Looking back, although I had struggle when facing to choices , such as Job, family, kid, even food, I got unconditional support and help from my family, my friend. I felt thankful for them. In turn, I wish I could contribute my knowledge to help more and let them feel what a wonderful world it is!
